Christoph W.Hammel is vintner and winemaker in his 1723 founded family owned wine estate in the german Rhine Valley. He studied oenology at the Research Institute for Wine and Fruitgrowing in Klosterneuburg near Vienna in Austria. Afterwards he worked round 3 years in Stellenbosch/South- Africa for the wine estates Delheim and Koopmanskloof. Since 1991 he is running the wine cellar in the wine estate in Kirchheim an der Weinstrasse in Germany. | |
